Roscommon Solstice Choir & Ukephoric Ukulele Collective

Thursday 25th July

8pm, The Marquee, Rooskey Community Centre

We are so excited to bring together, for the very first time, two powerhouses of the Roscommon (and national!) music scene. For one night only, the Roscommon Solstice Choir will join forces with Knockcroghery uku-legends Ukephoric for a combined concert extravaganza! Performing a mix of hits, old and new, each group will showcase their talents separately before coming together for what promises to be a magnificent musical experience!

Followed by an After Party in Tommy Cox’s pub from 10pm – Free Entry!

Roscommon Solstice Choir

Since its inception in 2013, the Roscommon Solstice Choir has grown from strength to strength, performing all over the country and beyond, and helping to raise money for countless charitable organisations. Winners of the People’s Choice Voluntary Arts Award in 2017 and an All Ireland Community & Council Silver Award in 2018, we are honoured to have them in Rooskey to help kick off the main weekend festivities.

Ukephoric Ukulele Collective

Ukephoric are no strangers to Rooskey, having performed at the festival for the last two years as part of the Manic Ukes supergroup. Always loud and lively, you won’t be able to stop yourself smiling, clapping and singing along to their strumming.
