Buskers – Are you Coming to RHF??
Buskers – see you over the Rooskey Heritage Festival 🙂
In a MINOR change to the Rooskey Heritage Festival, we decided not to have a busking competition this year.
That DOES NOT MEAN that buskers will not be around, we have a few already promised, and all are welcome.
Come, enjoy the craic, stick out your hat, and fill the village with your sounds.
Hopefully, we will see you guys during July.

The Duck Race Comes to the Rooskey Heritage Festival
Delighted to announce that Eimear Reynolds will open the Rooskey Heritage Festival this year.
Eimear Reynolds is from the beautiful picturesque village of Rooskey in Co. Roscommon.
Eimear was brought up in an extended family of musicians and singers so it was no surprise when she began to have a keen interest herself. Having trained classically for more than twelve years and completing a bachelor of music degree in the Dublin Institute of Technology Conservatory of Music and Drama. Shes been the Face of Ireland, the Roscommon Rose, a successful singer songwrier, and the co-founder of the Roscommon Solstice Choir 😮
Think we’d like her even if she wasn’t a Rooskey native.
Thanks Eimear for your continued support,
Many people who come to the Rooskey Heritage Festival have never seen the Duck Race so we’ve decided to have a race as part of the opening ceremony.
Its be a great way to start the quack for the weekend.
We’ll sell numbers on the night, have the race, a bit of activity around the harbour, and then hopefully all head up to the Big Red Barn to continue the festivities.
Once again we are humbled by the generosity of our community. Our cake sale was a great success.
We really really want to thank all those who put on their oven in exceptional heat and baked for us 😅😅😅 ye guys are legends.
To everyone who stopped by and bought a cake, bought a ticket or donated a few euro thank yo so much.
Every euro will go towards making this years festival more successful than before. Roll on the 27th. 😎😎😎
