Great atmosphere at the Easter Rooskey Duck Race.
It was a bit of quack, very egg-citing, and certainly not a bit re-duck-ulous. Thanks for all the support, we had a great turnout, especially since the Roscommon team was playing later in the day.
We had a great turn out, especially the kids, so thanks to all of you.

The Manic Ukes entertained many of the duck followers in Noels Bar after the race, and were a hugh success. We’ll see more of this mob at the Rooskey Heritage Festival itself 😀
We also want to make a special point of thanking our volunteers for the day without whom this madness would not be possible. Volunteers are really the foundation of our Festival.
So Terry Clews and Michael Campbell , thanks guys for everything ye do.
Also thank you to Tighe’s Centra Rooskey for selling our ducks and Ciaran Fallon for giving us power for our Mc on the day the wonderful Paul Neary.
Shane and Callie are our kayaking team for the duck race and during our festival but not only do they do this they have both volunteered at other occasions. Shane sold tickets on St. Patrick’s Day and Callie was one of our Roses.
We the committee want to thank everyone who helped with our parade in anyway on Saturday. The stewards and ticket sellers did a great job. We also want to thank our local garda who made it his business to help out at the bridge.
